Klaus Schenck
Introduced by Annie Bordeleau When I discovered Klaus Schenck’s work in 2013, he was already fascinated with metaphors and how they ubiquitously spice up our language and colour our stories.
In this presentation, Klaus chose the metaphor of ‘Bottlenecks’ to explore the sustainable flow of solutions. He highlights how heightened awareness of constraints and changing circumstances can propel us into our creativity.

Improving performance and atmosphere in a Health Care Institute by using Solution Focus ap-proach and methods.
I have over 25 years’ experience as a registered clinical psychologist, executive coach (ICF-PCC) and OD practitioner.
Previously I held senior Marketing, OD and Consulting roles in corporate business, SME’s and consultancies in the UK and South Africa and latterly I have had my base in Singapore, for the past 14 years. I have worked on both large and
small scale change, transformation and mergers and acquisitions.
My expertise and passion lead me to bring about positive change in complex and messy situations. I have contributed to management journals, newsletters and magazines and have been a contributing author to books on Adoption, Coaching and SF in Asia.
Solution Focus is for me more an approach than a tool and I deal with:
- Coaching, team coaching and Supervision in business context
- Management training
- Applied research in the SF field Supporting the development of awareness to improve relationships between people is the goal of my work.
This is what drives me to continuously develop the SF approach, in sharing with my community of practice. The SF Community is a very inclusive and warm community. A Space for reflection, developing and friendships. I have developed tools, techniques, I have written articles, participated in national and international conferences, held workshops and training courses in SF Coaching and published the results of my work.
My journey began as a software developer where I was an early adopter and advocate of Agile principles and practices. Years later I was hired as Chief Information Officer to lead an enterprise-wide Agile transformation. Since then I have served more than 60 organizations around the world as an Agile trainer, coach, and consultant. Currently I am currently a workforce transformation consultant and enterprise Agile coach for IBM.
