I bring over 25 years’ experience as a facilitator, consultant, leadership coach and speaker, developing leaders at all levels to use a coaching approach in all their conversations. I am passionate about coaching and applying Solution Focus approaches in everyday interactions with experience in many industry sectors, including – Construction, Education, Pharmaceutical, Financial Services and Government. I have been in learning and development and organisational development roles in the finance sector where I led successful culture wide programs for major firms. I have also worked in a consulting capacity for the last 16 years with a global Coaching Training organisation.
Carey Glass is a Managment Consultant and Organisational Psychologist. Her business “Change With Ease” reflects the miracle that happens when organisation move away from problem-focused approaches.
She has brought SF to all areas of corporate and public sector life in the UK, from strategy, to performance management, to occupational health and safety, to culture, coaching and complexity helping create far-reaching change iwht ease.
She has published case studies describing the transformation that SF brings to organisational outcomes and is excited to now be bringing the benefits of SF to Australian orgnanisations.
Douglas has more than two decades of project management experience in leading large-scale projects in manufacturing factories start-ups, expansions, constructions, relocations and M&A integration. He believes that communication and using Solution Focus principles are the essential skills to lead projects effectively.
Fiona Turner is working in education at Catholic Education Melbourne on a large-scale project.
As Product Owner, eLearn, Fiona works with teams delivering enterprise technologies to schools in Victoria. Her role involves liaising with school personnel and project teams to provide contemporary learning technologies for teachers to improve student learning.
Previously, Fiona had worked as a curriculum coordinator and teacher in primary schools in Melbourne. Fiona is an accredited coach with Growth Coaching International and has a certificate in Solution Focus Coaching.
Following a long and distinguished Air Force career of more than thirty years, John Teager transitioned seamlessly into defence industry and became managing director of an Australian subsidiary of an international prime. After enjoying ten years of significant success in the commercial world, John repatriated to his home town of Adelaide and established his own business – Open Mind Thinking – which helps company executives and their teams to be solutions focused, to have constructive conversations, to embrace the infinite nature of business and to develop strategies to get and stay ahead
Maria is a Director, Public Schools with the NSW Department of Education, Sydney Australia, responsible for supporting and working alongside 32 principals who lead primary, secondary and special schools.
Her work involves collaborating with colleagues at a school, Network and system level to ensure that principals are positioned and supported to successfully lead their school communities. A primary focus of her role is to harness the potential of collective efficacy to acknowledge, share and celebrate leadership and actions that positively impact on success for students.
Michele is a Nurse Practitioner (NP) working in Mental Health in Melbourne (Australia). She has been working in mental health for 30 years. Michele has been practising SFBT for the past nine years.
She currently leads the Brief Intervention Team of senior clinicians who use SFBT.
Michele has been a Board Member of the Australasian Association for Solution Focused Brief Therapy for the past six years.
Michele held the acting DON (Mental Health) and Associate Program Director (Adult Acute Mental Health Services) for eight months from 2016 – 2017.
Nic Vidot is a recently retired, experienced secondary school principal. He has had a successful career spanning fifty years in schools and senior system positions including New South Wales, Victoria and Northern Thailand.
He has a passion for nurturing future leaders, using coaching and mentoring to give them a voice. Solution Focused Coaching has been integral to his leadership practice.
