This 2024 edition of the InterAction Collection is taking you along on a journey, offering a sustainable view of innovative practices, insightful research, and compelling stories that inspire the solution-focused evolution.
As our world navigates through tumultuous times, the significance of creating solutions rather than focusing on problems has never been more apparent. This year’s collection shines light on how we, as a community, are learning about sustainability, about how to support each other in times of difficulty and many more fascinating features that can inspire our practice.
One of the central themes of this year’s collection is the emphasis on the co-constructive nature of solution-finding. Through case studies and research articles, we explore how engaging all stakeholders in the conversation fosters a sense of ownership and commitment to the outcomes. This collaborative approach is a cornerstone of solution-focused practices, and its success stories within various domains offer valuable insights for practitioners and organizations alike.

Do let the editors know if there is a particular topic you would like featured. If you would like to contribute, please write to the editors with an outline of what you would like to submit. You can also contribute by presenting a topic in a Global Online Chapter, with attendees from many different countries worldwide, or we can arrange for a contributor to interview you if you have a great story to tell.
- SFCT produced InterAction in eight volumes of printed articles from 2008 to 2016. In 2023 we plan to include most of these articles in the InterAction Collection, with the authors' permission. John has over thirty years experience of leading people to collaborate effectively. He gained his leadership experience as a Senior Vice President in Visa International, working on international projects. Since 2004 he has used his leadership and Solution Focus expertise to enable people in multinational and national organisations to collaborate effectively. He is Co-President of Solution Focus in Organisations, an SFiO Reviewed Practitioner and has an MBA from The Open University in the UK.
